i became a caregiver because, caring for the elderly is what i love. i like being a caregiver because, i love making their day, i love being a companion to them. , helping them out with things they cannot do themselves. my personal achievement would be when i have a job i take ownership and get it done. i like a challenge is helped me learn. I'm 25 i have one kid he's 8. I've taken care of people for about 6 or 7 years. there are adult of things that I've learned being a caregiver. and I'm open to learning more!

1.being able to give someone full support during a time where they can't do it for themselves. and to give there family the confidence that there loved one will be taken care of. 2. I became a caregiver because I've always enjoy helping other's that can't do for there self. What I love about being a caregiver is being wanted and appreciated everyday I go to my clients home. Beginning the steps to becoming a home owner is something personal I've achieved. I am a mother of 3 lovely little girl's who I enjoy spending most of my free time with I am interested in becoming a Nurse in the near future.

I became a caregiver almost 15 years ago when I was in college just to supplement my income but during the course of having a means to an end i fell in love with the job and went ahead to seek a career in the field where i am a Certified Medical Assistant while earning my BS in business management. I decided to become a caregiver when my mother became terminally ill with cancer in 2002. Seeing her in that state and not knowing how to comfort was an awful feeling. As her cancer progressed and she was no longer able to stay home, she was sent to hospice where she later passed away. I enjoy being a caregiver because I like to be the one to bring a smile on the clients faces or be the reason they look forward to seeing everyday. To be able to give the comfort ability to remain in their homes instead of being in facilities. My personal achievement is recognizing that I can make a difference in someone life just simply being a helpful hand. I take pride in being caring, loving and compassionate. i try to give my best and strive to give my all.

I am more than just a caregiver. I am also a Certified Nurses Assistant, a mother to a very rambunctious and loving 6 year old son, and the oldest amongst my siblings. I became a care giver about 9 years ago. I was the person in charge of my father when he was unable to move, to groom to prepare a meal or to do his shopping or simple daily needs, I was always there for him for 3 to 4 hours daily. I have also worked for a Community of Elders as an Office Manager, directly with our seniors getting involved in their financing, medical bills, their diets and nursing skills schedule and billing. I have learn so much, not only on my face to face communcation with them, but also caring for them on communicating with their families and prioritizing their needs.

I love providing home care services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I have 16 years experience and just love helping others.

My name is Elizabeth Kwesha and Iam a mother of 5 beautiful children. My last one will be graduating next year in High School. Where I grow up we were trained to care for each other no matter they are not part of your family but just offer help if it's needed. I have the desire or the urge to provide my assistance to others. I have the patience and I am reliable and flexible. I became a caregiver because my parents took care of orphans and we had to live with them. So the way they operated was share what ever you have with each other. So learned from them and that's where my desire to help others came from. It is good to give a hand to someone who needs it and at the end of day you feel good if they put that smile back again on their faces. I work with a lady for almost eight years taking care of until she passed away in May this year. I was part of that family we worked together as a team with harmony and joy. I feel that I managed to put this family together and at the end they enjoyed together.
