I am a caring and compassionate person. I decided to become a caregiver because I enjoy helping people. I like to make my clients happy. It means a lot to me to be able to help them, to make them laugh every day. I take great pride in helping people with activities that would otherwise be overwhelming. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses.

I am a professional Caregiver,with over 12 years of experience, and 8 years of that as a 24/7 Caregiver of A.L.S. patient ,hook on a ventilator, with tracheotomy. I have a diploma in MA, and have a certificate for 40 hour course in Personal Care for Spinal Cord Injury, given by the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. I have also completed an 80 hour training, as a Direct Care Worker/Caregiver.I successfully completed Medication training and passed the approved medication examination. I do complicated cases , G--tubes, injections any route, medication any route,including rectal disimpactions and digitals for impacted, respiratory treatments , Trach and Vents Care,inserting foley and straight catheters. I can also operate hoyer lift, interal feeding pump, and power wheelchair. I also do easy cases as custodial, light housekeeping, nutrition,ambulation,grooming, and ADL assistance. I can empathize , i believe that If you can totally put yourself in the place of who you are caring for, you will do nothing but provide excellent service and care.I am very patient, physically strong , mentally sound , psychologically determined ,and enjoy the process of care giving.

My passion is to help seniors live a better and productive life as they can. Helping them get their needs met. The best feeling for me is to make a difference for good in someone's life. I have a bachelor degree in Human Services with concentration in gerontology. My GPA is 3.74 I am 49 years old. Do not drink or do drugs. Seniors hold a special place in my heart. I took care of my grandmother for 4 years when she could no longer get out of bed.

i became a registered medical assistant because I wanted to help people and found the medical field very interesting. I have worked with a variety of people from the very young to the very old. I have worked in urgent care clinics, assisted living homes, and Alzheimer's/ Dementia units Since October 2013 I have been a full time live in personal caregiver to my grandmother due to her cancer. I enjoy working as a medical assistant and would like to continue doing so as a personal caregiver. I am very proud of the fact that I have graduated in my field with Honors, a 3.96 GPA, and received 100% attendance awards every semester.

1. As a little girl I always dreamed of becoming a caregiver. In 2002 my grandmother had an heart attack and stroke. I helped my mother with her cares in which I began to gain experience. 2. I like the fact that I can help the elders with cares that they can't complete or with house chores that they can't do. 3. I became a caregiver because I believe that I have the compassion, empathy, patience, warmth, and selflessness. I enjoy taking good care of those in need of assistance with everyday activities because of any number of limitations. To see the smiles and the gratitude that emanate from clients fills me with joy knowing that I have done a satisfactory job. I believe, what makes me a great caregiver is that, I am able to adapt to different environments. I'm able to adapt to different life styles, and people from all kind a of walks of life. I like to make my patient happy, of course , always staying writhin the safety lines. Safety is always a must with me, I only imagine if one of patients or clients would be my grandmother or grandfather. I have volunteered my time before to care for cancer patients in Hospice, and I really enjoy being able to make a positive influence in other people's lives. I am CPR certified as well as AED trained. A I am also fluent in English, Spanish and even some French. I believe that my compassionate personality along with my patience will make me the perfect candidate for this position.

I am a great caregiver, that 's willing to go beyond the call of duty. Sometimes the client may need more care that is not listed. I will try to help them in that are. I have worked with the elderly and disable, for over 15 years. I was able to care for my mother and father, which help me realize my gift.
