I became a caregiver because, I wanted to make a difference everyday. Bringing a smile, a laugh, or just giving a helping hand to others is job well done in my eyes. Ive worked with kids & adults with cerebral palsy, autism, cancer, elderly & others that just needed companionship or needed extra hands.

I have been a caregiver for 20 years. I have worked with the elderly and also worth people with disabilities. I love to take care of people and it makes me feel good to help keep people independent.

The passion I have for my job makes me a great caregiver. I became a caregiver 7 years ago after seeing my Grandmother suffer from Alzheimer's and having a hard time finding the right person to care for her. My proudest and biggest achievements are being there for my client's. Helping them. Giving them a peace of mind.

Hmm...about me? When I took the class to become certified, I had no idea the impact it would have on my life, much less, how it would impact the person I am today. I think being personable and empathetic are important qualities that have been enhanced throughout the last nine years. I never put much though into becoming a caregiver, it just kind of came about, but now I feel like its a way for me to step away from "self." Whatever may be going on in life gets left at the door or at the time clock, then I step into another "self." Its hard to describe the way this type of work makes me feel which, in turn, has a positive affect on my job performance and I like to think people can see this shine through in my personality. I can honestly say that I'm happy to have gained the friendships, knowledge and experience I wouldn't have otherwise had a chance to gain. My most recent personal achievement is being enrolled to start on online classes to take the next step in the healthcare feild.

I love working with people, I am very caring and compassionate. I decided to become a caregiver after taking care of my parents when they became unable to care for themselves. I enjoy listening and talking to the elderly, I feel you can learn so much from them. My biggest personal achievement is my college degree which I achieved after my children graduated from high school.

Compassion is what I do best. I got into home health care because my grandfather got to the point he was bed-ridden before his passing. I witnessed his caregivers come in and not help my grandmother do any of the duties they were assigned. I completed my certification soon after and started helping clients remain in their homes. I enjoy working on a personal level with the elderly. They have so much wisdom to spread, all they need is someone who will listen. The biggest thing that I have to be proud of is I will be obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration in December of 2017.

For the past 15 years I have worked with the elderly population, mentally disabled adults and children along with individuals who are physically disabled. I am currently working on my Masters in Human Services. I find it a great joy to help individuals and also help them keep their independence. The best part about being a caregiver is seeing the person you help smile and satisfied. A personal achievement I am happy with is the fact that I am almost done with my Masters after one more year of college.

I originally started doing this type of work at the suggestion of a RN,while in college. I quickly discovered there was a wonderful experience and opportunity waiting at each new home. When I look back, I realize I learn more from these experiences than I ever did in college. I look forward to hearing the stories and life lessons your family has to share,and treat each person as I would a member of my own family,if not better.

My first job was babysitting a special needs child. This lead my curiosity into healthcare . I graduated from high school with not only a diploma , but my certificate of nursing assistance. Later , enrolled into a 2 year associates degree program majoring in medical assisting. Over a decade has passed , I am still eager to assist all ages and health backgrounds in my community. From degenerate complications to simple companionship. Hire me to care for your loved one.

I have caregiving in my family. I took care of my dad the last year he was with us while he was fighting stage 4 cancer, I helped take care of my grandma during her last few months. I currently work in a transitional home for the severely mentally ill with medical issues. I enjoy helping and being able to give back to the older generation. I am a military veteran with a degree in paralegal studies.

I have a first hand experience as my mom is has dementia I know the care it requires. The need as a caregiver is growing and u believe I can be an asset. All the goal that I have set I have achieved them dust far& making headway for new one.i see myself as a achiever not atime waster

I have worked on a part time basis providing elderly companionship for the last 4-5 years, and pride myself on creating a respectful, reliable, and dignified relationship that will allow your loved one to continue to foster an important sense of independence and control. I recognize the need to provide the social and emotional support that is so often hard to find, and being able to aid in the activities that may not come as easily anymore to these individuals. I'm familiar with early dementia, diabetic care, mobility assistance, medical appointment scheduling and transportation, medication prompting and social outings. I usually provide light housekeeping services, pet care, and light meal prep to clients on as as needed basis.

I always make sure my clients are treated like family.

I love listening to people story. I am not scary to help people. I love being there for people no matter what It is that is need.
