Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Nour but you can call me Nora. I've always had a passion for helping people. There's nothing more rewarding to me then knowing I could make someone's day a little easier and brighter. I am a patient, caring, and honest person I give 110% at everything I do. I love being a caregiver because I want to make sure my clients are well taken care of and treated with the utmost respect and compassion that they deserve.

Im very professional but I also like to treat patients like family. The reason why I picked this job was because I always wanted to help people in some way. For me helping button down shirts, brushing hair, toileting, even the smallest thin, gives me satisfaction;! knowing I'm doing good and I'm helping those in need is very joyful. I put myself in those shoes and think of the way I would like to be treated if I was in a situation like that. The thing I'm always proud of is when people says "what will we do with tou you?" it's not ego, it just shows me that I'm doing a great job.

I am a very compassionate person and anything that I do I give it my all. I'm studying at Saint Xavier University and I'm taking a minor in Gerontology which is the Study of Aging. That really bought interest to me and I would love to work with the elderly as I complete my Bachelors and Start my Masters in Gerontology. I am a very patient person and have great communication skills. I love communicating to people and just getting to know them really interest me. My grandfather is 86 and I would care for him for example drive him to the grocery store or just grabbing ice cream is what he really likes to do. I would cook for him and clean the house up for him when my uncle was at work. My aunt stays with him but she is deaf and mute so it can be hard for her at times. I enjoy helping both of them when needed.

I am a mature, Christian woman; honest, hard-working, and reliable. I enjoy working with the elderly, and specialize in dementia and hospice. I consider my greatest asset to be my "people skills"!

I am 18 year old girl living completely on her own. I have always been responsible to take care of children and elders in my family. I grew up very close to my Grandma, who inspired me to become a nurse. I'm attempting to pay my way through nursing school by doing what I know best, caring for people. I am a great conversationalist and have an ability to put people at ease. I am a hard worker and will be there for every single need and make the person in my care feel comfortable around me.

I completed the CNA program from Moraine Valley Community College in 2009 and received certification. I worked as a Caregiver/Companion from 2010-present. I was promoted to Care Manager in 2016. I gained knowledge about home care management and recently returned to school to pursue a degree in Social Work. I will have 10 years of experience in the home care field in the fall.

Communication, is what attract me most about being a caregiver. I enjoy helping out, going places, and being someone's company. Going back to school for nursing and i believe this is a a great start.

Hi! I have worked in a nursing home for about 4 years now as a CNA. I absolutely love caring for others. If I can put a smile on someone's face when they aren't necessarily feeling their best or make them feel like they have someone they can talk to and trust I know I've made a difference. What makes me a good caregiver is that I like helping people and I have always been this way. I have worked in the medical field for over 24 years and have always enjoyed being with my patients. Helping them in any way I can (getting them fresh water,cleaning their space, assisting with eating, respiratory care, etc... Seeing them smile for any reason is a great feeling. I know in home caregiving patients are "clients" and clients soon become friends. A friend that I would care for. I reside in Oak Lawn IL. My Daughter and Grandaughter live with me year round and my Son stays with us seasonally. I am 59 and ready to make a career change. I have not been employed for the last 15 months. I have been keeping busy being a different kind of caregiver. Meaning I have been my Grandaughters caregiver. My elderly neighbor has a caregiver that comes to his home twice a day everyday. I have great respect for her and have come to the conclusion that it is time for me to make a change in careers and this is what I would like to do for many years to come. I have cared for many patients but I also cared for my Grandfather for 5 years until his passing. I also cared for my Mother for many years until she passed. My Sister when she was layed up due to a roller skating fall and my Son when he had a really bad fall down a flight of stairs. I feel I qualify to be a caregiver and I hope you think so too. I will still be caring for my Grandaughter until the coming fall season. Which is at the most three days a week. Weekdays. For now I am hoping to work part time and I would not only be available 2 or 3 days a week but I would really like to weekends.

Hi my name is Lisa Captain. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 30 plus years. I have exsperience in hospitals...nursing homes and home health (Private pay). I am very qualified to take care of the elderly. I am very careing...compationate. ..loving and have a friendly personality. I became attracted to being a CNA when I was 18yrs old now 50. I would go visit my grandmother's great aunt in a nursing home and would just observe everything going on around me. I've always been empathetic towards animals and the elderly at a young age. I knew after a few visits at the nursing home that was where I wanted to work. I felt such empathy for the elderly I was seeing while visiting my grandma's great aunt. I would help the other paitents when i saw they needed help at my visit. So I decided to get Certified as a Nursing Assistant and that's what I did since a young age of 18. I've met so many wonderful people over the years with many memories I'll never forget. I believe taking care of the sick elderly is what God wanted me to do. I have such a big heart filled with tons of compassion for what I do. I'm a hard worker....I love all animals and love to clean as well if needed. Being a CNA is what my calling is here on earth.
