I became a caregiver in 1996 I was influenced by my sister n law.I like being a caregiver it gives me a opportunity to help others who need my help. By putting smiles on my clients faces. Right now I go to school from 6am to 10am for medical assistant I just love what I do I've been working in medical field since 96

I became a caregiver because I have seen too many people that need care, and also get treated badly from care givers that don't care. Its a rewarding feeling actually ,I love the thank you's you get when you have brighten some one day. I like the doubt i see on people faces when you walk in the door, and the person think oh this just another worker and at the in the day they mind has been changed because all health workers are not alike. I tell my people i work with its not just about the money, its about the heart the dependecy. I really don't have a personal achievement , I don't praise my self of my accomplishments, you know you have done a good job and have uplifted a family when they have praised you for caring. I have been a c.n.a since 2007. I also work with the Developmental Disable and the Mental disability, been doing this since 2004. I love learning new things, new areas of care or and just being there. I am a single mom of 2, I went to college for medical billing and coding, graduated with a 4.0 I use too work in the field of medical billing but the company folded. So as you can see my history is around health care.

I have been a caregiver since 2003 and I love the aspect of helping people in need. I get the joy out seeing other people happy. I am proud of the fact that I went back to school and got my degree dispite the financial struggle. I am kind, helpful, goal oriented and not to mention a mother of a beautiful 7 year old.

I love helping others, I'm a very compassionate person. Being able to make an individual feel good about themselves. Being able to provide for my children and grandchild. I'm very confident within the woman I've become of the years, I'm a very hard working, I'm very dependable, I love my family.

I love helping people and the satisfaction that feels helping people that need your help I like the person I am taking care of to look their best because that reflects on me the sense of accomplishment feels great too there is nothing like helping people that need you and can rely on you for help I am self starter and can also work well with teams.

1. I was raised watching my mother doing home health care and have always love the field. 2. I really love being to take care and help the patient of their needs on a more personal level. Making them feel that I am paying attention to them and not just another number. I love to see the relief in their eyes and comfort I can provide by taking care of them in the comfort of their own home. 3. I have taken care of a family member from a very young age and not because I had to but because I wanted to and felt I was the one who made them feel the most comfortable. Now I have gone to school and finished medical assistance school while raising a family and taking care of another family member as needed. I feel proud of the fact that my passion has driven me to further my education and accomplish goals one at a time. 4. I am a very driven person with a goal at each day, but I am also very compassionate and accepting to others and their personal situations that allows me to empathize with them and care for all walks of the world as if they were my owen

I became a caregiver because I love to make a difference in someones life, to be there for them, to be off some help and because i love it so much. I have been doing this since i was 17 years old and started as a candy striper. I like caring for those that can not care for themselves and helping them to maintain their independence and self worth. I am the kind off person that is going to go above and beyond for my client. Hi, my name is Ashley and I am currently seeking any kind of work in the medical field. I have my medical assistant diploma with a lot of experience. I did work in general medicine. I also worked for a lady with ALS for two years. She recently passed away in June. It was really hard because I became super attached to her. I was the head home caregiver which included a lot of responsibilities. I was in charge of making all her home care appointments for all types of her special doctors such ad wound care, physical therapy, regular doctors visits, respitory therapist and so on. I was in charge of her medications which she was on a lot. She was also on a trach because she was unable to breathe on her own as well as being on a feeding tube.I would also change her, wash her up and just in general did whatever she would do for herself on a regular basis that she was no longer able to do on her own. I worked 6 days a week. Not because of the pay because I can make money at any job but because I know I made a difference in her day just lime she made a difference in mine. I am very responsible and reliable.

I have a passion of helping the elderly. I do enjoy my job as a caregiver i love taking care of other those in need. I have a compassionate heart im very warm and understanding as well. I enjoy companionship spending that qulaity time talking as well as listening.

I have been caring for clients for 20 yrs. I enjoy being a caregiver because i am able to provide care that i would like to receive. I am available any days any times even willing to work holidays..I can provide over night care as well.

Many caregivers feel underappreciated doing this type of work, but I personally do this because it trains me to better care for those who need help. That training will also come in handy when I become a Registered Nurse in the future.
