Hi I am a Certified Level 1 Medication Aide. I have also been a Caregiver for 6yrs. I have my CPR and First Aid training. I enjoy helping people but also finding new friendships. I have dealt with Hospice, Dementia, Autism etc. I know how to use a gait belt, hoyer lift and sit to stand. I am teachable, dependable and always there when needed.

I became a caregiver after witnessing my grandmother care for my grandfather with Lou Gehrig's disease. She could have used the extra support and helping hands and at a young age I could only do so much. I have wanted to be a caregiver ever since. I love being a caregiver and developing a relationship with my clients. They aren't just a job, they become family and friends and it's beyond rewarding to see their face light up when you walk in to greet them. After working with the developmentally disabled community for five years I obtained my CNA license and plan on furthering my education in Nursing. Five years later I have since obtained experience in nursing homes and for the past 3 years have been providing in home private care. I am the mother of ten year old twins and they are my world. They know mommy goes to work to help her friends.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others. What I like most about caregiving is the ability to help people who cannot help themselves and the idea that it may be paid forward to me one day. I am proud to say I have a great heart and never think twice about helping those in need. I am a compassionate, caring and hard working mother of two girls that I want to set an excellent example for.

I have experience in home care agencies and private duty. I can provide companionship to hands-on care. I pride myself on the care that I give to my clients and will do everything in my power to make sure their needs are met, big or small.

I have worked in care giving for more then 15+ years. I first worked in the Staton care center as a CNA/CMA , then did home health care private pay. Over the years I have truly enjoyed getting to know the people I have taken care of, and being part of their life. I love knowing I am making a difference in someone's life and helping make it a little better. I am most proud of being a mom of 2 wonderful kids, and being a wife. I have enjoy this life and try to make the most out of it.

I have about 10 years experience in home care. I got my cna to take care of my parents. I did not renew it once my parents passed. I like helping seniors with this stage of life

Being a caregiver has always been a huge part of my life. When I was very young girl my mother had two strokes. I took on the role of being my mother's care giver at age 13. After I graduated high school, I knew that caring for people is what I loved, and was one of my special talents. A personal achievement I am proud of is my grade point average in college. I managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA for my whole freshman year of college. I closed my company and have spent the past 3 years caring for my elderly parents, first my dad, then my mom. I have extensive caregiving experience, altho I am not certified, My experience ranges from extensive wound care, colostomy care, to household duties. My mother recently passed and during the years of caring for her, I have found this is where my heart is. I cared for a dementia client with wound care from 12/16 to 2/17. Client passed.

I've been doing CNA & home care work for about 8 years. I do it because i love taking care of people who are in need. It makes me sad when i see patients don't get proper care or feel like they aren't being heard. So i make sure i give above & beyond care companionship do my patients. Make sure they know i hear them & will do whatever i possibly can do make sure they feel comfortable. I'm going to school for my LPN , so this is a career i want to be in for a long time.
