I became a caregiver for the elderly because in this world we have to live life to the fullest and so with doing so I'm here to help. I love being a caregiver because I like entering and leaving my clients happy and loved. Doing my absolute best in providing the care in need is by far the personal achievement. I have been a caregiver for a total of 7 years. I became a CNA when I was 18 but took a break from it at age 23, while I attended college. I earned a degree in Health Information Technology and worked in Elkhart General Hospital's Medical Records Department for two years. I liked the job but it wasn't as fulfilling for me as caregiving. I happened to meet a woman who did private home care and needed another aide working with her. I took the job and have been happily providing care for the elderly since.

Hello, I believe I would personally fit as a good candidate because of the reason why I chose to be a caregiver in the first place. My great aunt was also an caregiver and she would always tell me about the great stories of meeting so much beautiful people until she became ill herself. I personally cared for her myself with the knowledge she gave me for 6+ years until she passed. That's when I decided to go to school and receive my certification for home health aide because I knew I enjoyed working along senior citizens.
