I started caring for my grandparents it gave me joy that I made a difference in helping them sustain there independence. Iam an outgoing compassionate person I enjoy working and helping the elderly of all walks of life, focusing on each individuals needs to help them maintain their self-sufficiency in their home along with being a great companion . Helping one individual hold on to their independence is an achievement for me. Also for their families I like to keep in contact to let them know the progress how their loved one is coming along. I really enjoy knowing that I can make a difference one person at a time and take the time to do it.

My other elderly neighbor had lung cancer and decided against treatment. I was with her every step of the way. Appointments, Grocery Shopping,, Companionship, Cleaning and Cooking. When I say that my best friend was 74 years old when she passed away, I mean it. Friendship has no age barrier.
