I was determined and made it a goal to care for the seniors assisting them in all ADLs daily it's a privilege helping them caring for them engaging companionship outtings Dr. App making sure my job is done correctly so that there Family can be azure there loved one is safe dedicated. I love what I do to me it's a Blessing.

I am just me. I try to make the best out of each day of my life and that is all I want to help others do as well. Life is short so we have to take care of ourselves . I always been consider as a caregiver because besides work I have family that has similar situations as those in home health care that I also help and it is an amazing Job helping others Heal and get Better. I started out with taking care of my grandparents and after that it was a joy doing this work, my heart goes into this work. It is my goal to see smiles and joy on the faces of someone who needs my care. I take patients to their doctor appointments, provide bathing, cooking, cleaning and more. I also have a car, and I'm willing to go on walks and go out to get lunch, ice cream, haircuts, or pedicures. I am looking for work from the hours of 3:30 pm to 9:00pm Monday-Friday. I do not work with pets, thank you.

I decided I wanted to become a caregiver after watching my mom do it for years. She would always come home with stores about work, some funny others sad. I became a caregiver/ certified nursing assistant on August 8 2003. I love the healthcare/medical field. I chose this path because I have always had a passion for taking care of people. I come from a family of nurses and caregivers. I have worked in hospitals, home care, rehabilitation and assisted living. I've always had something in me to help others. What I love best about my job is being there for someone who has kind of lost their way of being there for themselves like they used to and I want to help them gain that back or at least be there for them as their backbone and build a relationship. The reason I became a care giver is because of my mom who became sick with cancer and could not afford home care. At that time I quit my job to take care of her. The things I like about being a caregiver is taking care of people regardless of their needs, and their family can still have a life out side of home. My personal achievement is that I'am in school for applied health science which is medical office management. Which means I will work right under the doctor and over the nurses, but I want to manage a nursing home so I can help stop the abuse in those places. I'am a mother of 8. My husband has 4 and I have 4 so are house is really full, but it dont really bother us at all. I love to work and help people that need the help.

I consider myself a great caregiver, because I am very caring and compassionate. I became a certified nurse aide after helping take care of my elderly neighbor. It felt good to help care for her and I wanted to continue so I went to school and was certified. When I was caring for my neighbor, I remember she loved to eat ice cream and watch old black and white movies so once a week we'd eat ice cream and watch the movies together. Sixteen years later and I still love working as a caregiver.
