I have been in the caregiving field for over 10 years.It started with taking care of my Mother when she became terminally ill with MSA Parkinson's.Then I started working for an Assisted Living Facility and knew instantly this is what I was meant to do....I truly Love what I do...I started in private caregiving 4 years ago because I enjoy spending one on one time.I am Compassionate,Patient,Dependable and Flexible.I am a very positive person with a great sense of Humour.I specialize in Dementia and Alzheimers.I love to cook and clean,And because of my age I make a great companion because we can relate to so many things.

Why did you become a Caregiver? When my Grandparents became too ill to care for themselves, my family moved them in with us. I was constantly thinking of ways, whether big or small, to brighten their day. And, it was at that point I knew I didn't want to do anything else. What do you like about being a Caregiver? I love going to work every day, the smiles you receive for even the smallest deed is priceless, and at the end of the day I feel like I've made someone's life more enjoyable. Also, the bond you develop by getting to know clients and their families, therefore, becoming an integral part of their lives. What is a personal achievement you are proud of?
