Hello, My name is Darshana. I am an honest , dependable, and caring person. I love what I do and that's taking care of other who can no longer take care of themselves. I've been in the health care field for about 7 years now and enjoy every second of it . Safety, companionship and making sure you or your loved one feels most comfortable is my job.

I have been a Caregiver for 20 plus years and I can say it's not a job, it's a god given gift. The passion that I have as a caregiver is beyond measures. I enjoy learning and blessing each family that I interact with. Knowing that I am able to put some families at ease when it comes to their close love ones, brightens up my day. I provide nonetheless of Respect, patience, love, understanding and a fresh beginning with happiness.

I have been in the healthcare field for over 22 years, I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others, I am very patient, compassionate and empathetic, I love to talk about my patients lives and be involved in things that make them happy.

I have a love and gift for service of others; whether it's humans, animals, or plants. In all of my day to day activities I find that I receive the most satisfaction when I'm assisting others in some way. Whether it's help with daily chores, organizing, or just a friendly ear to talk to, I put my best effort in everything I do! My passion for caring for others began when I was a little girl. My mother was confined to a wheelchair and she had no use of either legs; yet she was absolutely one of the most positive people I've ever met. I love asking questions and seeing the world through someone else's eyes; especially eyes that have seen this beautiful world go through so many phases. Being a caregiver to me is so much more than just a job. It's about doing something that I'm passionately GOOD at, something that brings my heart joy. I'm an avid go-getter and love being put on projects! As a mother myself, I definitely know how important it is to ensure that all who are under my care are safe, happy, loved, and know how grateful I am to be of service to them!

I'm FULLY VACINATED FOR BOTH COVID AND THE FLU! I also have my CURRENT NEGATIVE TB SKIN TEST! I'm a CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT but it's currently in expired status (I'm working on becoming current as we speak) I'm also CPR CERTIFIED!! I'm caring and compassionate, honest and hard working!! Provided health care for my Grandfather who was my world at age 14 this is when I knew caring for people was my gift because I loved it. I later cared for my adopted mother and father until their deaths for about seven years, my birth mother for three years, two aunts, one cousin plus going too school, managing three Ole Smokey Toppers Sports retail stores for seven years and raising a son by myself. During the first ten years of moving to Knoxville I took in thirty-two homeless young into my home at my own emotional and financial expense. Most importantly to give back to society and help mend the streets. These young adults were deemed as \\"throw away kids,\\" and some were mentally handicap, dropouts or teenage single mothers. I helped to give them a safe home environment with a second chance in life plus assisted them thru the legal system, college, health care system, and social services. I love caring for people. I have been blessed to meet and care for so many wonderful people and become lifelong friends with their families.

I love home care and being independent. I hope to find the fit I most deserve and also desire ; but so do you . I do specialize in the brain and the function so I've worked with a ton of dementia . Stroke , and brain injured clients . However ; I am well rounded and a self starter . I have many certificates to back up my experiment and education. I am also a certified Medical Assistant so I feel I stand out because I am legally able to preform more duties and I have done just about anything including emergency rooms . I do have to say home care has now become my passion and I'm dedicated and driven , I enjoy making a difference and not only saving lives but providing comfort Care in their last days . I have 20 years experience . I have a wide range of professional experience including hospitals and more . I do prefer dementia patients because I specialize in this field however open to your needs . I am very knowledgeable yet I also have a great sense of humor and respect that isn't found in this world anymore . I am dependable , I do not call off and I am willing to work any hours given at this time prefer 12 hour shifts or overnights however I am open . I became a caregiver in 1997 when my mother had a massive stroke and have continued in this field until the present.
