I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping others. It started when I was about 16 years old. My mother was a licensed foster home for adults with disabilities, and when I turned 18 I did respite for her when she would need. From there I began working in different environments providing care, whether it was nursing homes or assisted living or in home care.

I have 4 adult siblings, all older than I and always loved caring for persons in need of care. I have always volunteered in my community with community clean up efforts. I have worked as a Direct Service person for 4 years. Also, have been a sitter for a family for private pay. Additionally, I was a Crisis Counselir for 2 years and did 2 years in customer service. I lost my fiancee and my mother tragically in April 2024 and moved to East Prairie with my 18 month old daughter.

I became a care giver because I like to help people, my mother works for Hospice and she has done this type of work since I can remember. I love this type of work !! What I like about being a care giver is getting to know different people I love listening to their stories they have to tell, also I like the company. My personal achievement is going back to school for my bachelors degree in Health & Wellness and Office Administrator, I will graduate in 2015. I am a Mom of 4 children 2 are in the military and the other 2 live in Ohio. I am currently in school and I just moved to this area from High Point in April of this year. I have been certified as an EMT in Wisconsin for 3 yrs. I am certified in CPR and basic first aid. I am an out going person who loves being around other people and helping out whomever needs it.
