Williams, I became a care giver because i use to work with my mother when she was a care giver it was so nice seeing how happy her clients where when they saw me with her, that is also what i love most about this job. i get to make someone day, let them know that someone is looking out for them and cares about and for them. I am 24 years old and love helping and working with people of all age's. I make everyone I meet laugh and smile, I love to read and have intellectual conversions and walks around the park just to walk and enjoy the beautiful world around me. I also could spend all day in the house just cleaning and reading, or watching a good show.

This is the single most important ingredient that I consider. Being a caregivers need an innate sense of selflessness and empathy, and sometimes what may seem like a natural personality fit can be deceiving. I have a good degree of human compassion not what a school can teach me but what I have in my heart.

I enjoy helping others, it is a good feeling knowing i can be of service in any way i can to help make someones life as comfortable as possible, i am very patient with the elderly and have had the honor of meeting and caring for many of the older generation and their families, i truly have made some wonderful friends in my line of work:) I respect the older generation and understand that when they need care assistance it should be done with out judgement because it is a change from doing things on your own to having to get help with everyday tasks, therefore, we should not judge or ridicule anyone, because one day the younger generation will be in need of help as well. caregivers must show respect and understanding at all times...

I became a caregiver because I wanted to make a difference in someone's life. I love the flexibility of care giver jobs. A personal achievement that I am proud of is receiving the employee of the year award for being the best caregiver and displaying my love for seniors with my employee of the year award . I became a caregiver because of my passion for health care. I felt there was a shortage of genuine people to care for others. I left being a CNA to work for Donor Network of Arizona because I wanted to obtain more medical knowledge. My job as an Ocular Recovery Technician gave me a plethora of experience in chart reviewing. I had a baby and took a year off of work with intentions of getting back into being a CNA. My family moved to Las Vegas and I needed a job immediately, so I got a position in a hotel. This is not where I want to be and now in search of a position doing what I love. Taking care of people. I enjoy applying the knowledge that I have acquired while also making people feel as if their own family member is taking care of them. When I earned my Associate's Degree in Health Administration, I couldn't have been more proud. I am the second person in my family to earn a degree. I earned my CNA shortly after and immediately started working in the Emergency Room for Arizona Heart Hospital. People always tell me that they feel comfortable around me and usually open up quickly. I pride myself in that quality. I'm also stern and thorough.

Care giving is my absolute passion. There's nothing I wouldn't do for my patient/friend. I took care of my father for 10 years until he passed recently. I have also worked with other patients who became my best friends until one passed and the other is using my aunts help for now since he needs hospice. I cook, clean, grocery shop, take to dr. visits, make sure they always have their medication on time, I bathe them, dress them and ANYTHING else they need. I am 33 with a husband and a daughter who's in school. I'd love more than anything to find a new patient to take care of ASAP.

I initially started care providing back in 1994, helping out my cousin's mother in New Jersey. Aunt Clotilde (I called her back then). Aunt Clotilde was diabetic and had several health issues that included: obesity and high blood pressure. I took care of Aunt Clotilde for several years administering insulin shots, preparing meals, monitoring her blood pressure and going on walks). My professional care providing experience began in 2004 when I moved back to California (my home town). Shortly after my return home, my sibling and I signed up with a nursing care agency in Los Angeles and started working after training. I have also worked with other agencies and have done private care. I enjoy working with the elderly and I look forward to working with the care.com community.

I make an excellent caregiver because I have been helping with the elderly since 1998, I enjoy helping and working as a caregiver as well as a CNA. When I am with my client, I show compassionate, caring, the love I have for the work and them, and joyful while I am with them. I am an honest, enjoyable, hard-working, love my job and sweet person. I am in college and will finish July 10, 2017, I will have my BS in Psychology and taking that to become a social worker with the elderly. I have worked in nursing homes as well, and I loved working there as well. Being a caregiver is different, and I like that I can be one on one with the client and can get to know them as well as giving them the time they need from me. Just to top it off I am a wonderful person to take care of others love ones, I also treat them as they are my love ones too.

I have a heart of gold and I treat all my patient with tender loving care. I can not stand a thief or lier nor do I accept abuse so when I know this is going on I will make documentation of it and then notify the proper authority. I treat my patient like they are my grand parents. I became a care giver because as a little girl I had the dedication and desire to help the young and helpless to the old and restless. Every time I see an elderly person in need I rush to their aid to see how I can make it easier for them to do what ever it id they was trying to do. I like being a caregiver because I like giving back and when ever I can someone smile I have done a good deed and when I this I feel good and it is an achievement for me they are happy and so am I. My plans are to open my owe home health care facility so senior can get the tender loving care that is needed without having the fear of being abused or mistreated. I take pride in my work and if my patients are not happy Im not happy so I go over and out of my way to make sure they are happy at the end of the day.
