I became a caregiver after my husband became ill and subsequently passed away. I felt the need to help others where illness or disease has taken over and become a person their loved one could depend on. I am proud to say that I have made a difference in other people's lives by just being that person who is with someone's loved one so they can relax a little bit. I am proud of the fact that my last client was able to deal with her issues a little better as a result of my being there with her. We got a long great and she trusted me to be able to help her. I am a caring person who enjoys being that companion for another person. I enjoy keeping the client's house clean and running errands for them, and I feel good about myself and think I can truly make a difference. I love to talk with older people, and anyone for that matter, and being there to provide the care a safety for someone who really needs it makes me feel accomplished in life.

I have became a caregiver since 1985. I am very compassionate and kind person. I am willing to step above and beyond the duty for my customer. I feel as though I want to treat my customer how I would like someone to treat me. I am a caregiver that will do what I need to satisfy my customer. I like about me as a caregiver is that I can make my customer smile with just a conversation and that the smallest thing will make them happy. I like about me as a caregiver no matter what my personal problems can be they bring wisdom and joy to my heart. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that I finally went back to school and have accomplish 39 credits on my own. I am a grand-mom of 2 grandchildren and I move from Maryland to Georgia and I still can go back to the nursing home of 11 years and they still show me love when go to visit. That lets me know that I did something right and touch many hearts.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I love seeing the joy on someone face after you did something good for them or just see how a person show health results due to the service you do for them. I am also a Massage Therapist and I constantly seeing how my services help others and I love to see that. One of my personal achievement that I am proud of becoming a Massage Therapist. This is just one step forward in my overall career goal. I am a mother of two boys and a wife of a veteran. I love being a mom and a wife.

I became a care giver because i am passionate about helping others and worthy of note is my intention to further my career in the health sector. I have acquired a Masters degree in Health Administration. I have worked for five years in the health sector and i love what i do, enhancing and improving the lives of the population i serve. I decided to become a caregiver when my grandmother became ill and needed to be taken care of. Once seeing how some did not and would not care for her the way a family member would, I decided that I would become a caregiver so that I could provide other families with the confidence and comfort that someone cares for their loved one just as much as they do.

It is one of the greatest fields to pursue A career in,the ability to help others and a great reward to yourself and the caretaker. I'am proud to say I have been in this field for over 3 years and it gets greater by the day I've worked with elderly to teenage mental consumers group home community and its just a heart fulfilling position.I am also a Medical Assistant graduate of 2010 graduated with Honors and love the Medical Field the ability to know I CAN make a difference in someone life is a reward by itself.Also, I'm currently enrolled in University of Phoenix getting my Bachelor in Healthcare Admin/Managements Great opportunity and goal I look forward into Achieving.

Naturally I was choosen to be a caregiver its a passion not a choice, to give others a better quality of life even if its for one day one week one month its all worth it. I will fight for those i take care of as if it were i in their position. I am very proud of my life in general I am a divorced mother of 3 who had battled cancer while going to college and still graduating showing my kids dreams are possible no matter what obstacles are in the way, the harder the fight the sweeter the victory will be. I began working for private in home care after taking care of my terminally ill husband and during this time I went back to college majoring in Health Care Administration/medical records graduating with an Associates of Science degree. After graduating I decided I preferred doing hands on care and working directly with clients for 3 ½ years in which I was a HHA/PCA.
