I became a caregiver because I am very passionate about helping people. I love being their to help them to remain in their current lifestyle. I like knowing that I help giving them a better quality of life and to also extend their quality of life. A personal achievement I am proud of is being out maybe running errands and a family member walks up to me to let me know that they remember me taking care of their family member from years back. My achievement is to make a footprint not only in their lives but in their hearts as well. I am a very loving and caring person. I work hard and I am very loyal. I love knowing that not only do I have an impact on their lives but they have one on mine as well.

I became a caregiver becasue nothing is more important to me than gving back to other that have less. My most pleasureable outcome of my career experience, is seeing a smile. Personal achievement is my dual masters degree in science and administration. I am a new mother, i moved to NJ three years ago, and i love what i do.

I want to become a Caregiver because i have a heart for elderly like my parents. I enjoy spending quality time with my mom and house mates of a Senior Living home for Senior citizens. I like the games they play such as bingo. They have church services and dinners after events. My personal achievement is being able to take care of the elderly and see their smile. I make personal gift basket for the senior ladies of the home on holidays. I am 45 years old and I love getting to know people and listening to them when they need someone to talk to. I wanted to take care of my grandmother but unfortunately she did not make it this far. My mother is the idol for my grandmother and mom tells me all the time that I look so much like my grandmother but yet she does too.

I became a caregiver because taking care of people is my passion. I like to see others happy. Making them happy, makes me happy. I had to grow up fast at an early age and help take care of my younger siblings. I believe that's where my patience and passion for caring for others came from. I treat all my patients with the respect that they deserve and they always love me for that. A personal achievement that I am proud of is enrolling myself into an online college. Hello, my name is Helen. I decided to become a care giver because I like making sure others are cared for. I have been working in different fields of care since the early 90's and have advanced in my learning skills about different illnesses. I feel my personal achievement is to be able to continue to do a great job in my field.

I first started out through Addus Health Care in Marion, Illinois. At the time I did not know what I was really doing, it was just a starter job until I could find the job that I was truely looking for. Within the first couple of weeks that Addus Health Care, they were sending me to different clients homes, it took a little while for me to start feeling comfortable. The people who I got to come in contact with, and help with their daily living schedules; were so nice and so good to me; they were so loving, and it was the people who showed me so much love who made me want to show all my love back and they made me want to help them; but most of all through all the months and years that I had devoted my life with these people; it became where I just didn't want to share my love with them; I needed to show them because I need them as much as they need me. I love helping other people and getting to become a special part of their lives and families. I continued my education into CNA and CPR classes and have graduated, and am now State Certified through Tennessee.

I became a caregiver because i use to take care of my uncle who died some years ago and I believe int helping taking care of others i enjoy it. I enjoy taking care of others and seeing their smile upon their face when you are helping them. My personal achievement is being who i am and making those around me that need help smile. I became a caregiver to help the elderly, I saw that their was a need to assist the elderly many years ago in my community. In 2002 I began a working for a Day center for people with Alzhemiers and I loved it I had a chance to coordinate the center with the help of some other people we opened the center so that the elderly could have a place to go that would help give the family a break but to also help the elderly get out and have some fun with people their own age. While I worked doing that during the day I would go out to some of the clients homes to take care of them at night and own the weekend it became a second nature for me. I love people in general I am a people person but its something about the elderly that makes me go above and beyond for them ,they bring a certain light to your day. Being able to assist them with the little things give me joy and most of them are just looking for someone to talk to not really needing you for nothing but compassion and a listening hear. I am mostly proud of me going back to school to become a social worker and I really would like to put that to use to assist elderly who are in need of help with anything to make thier lives much easier. I am a medical assistant at Ochsner Hospital now and I have over 18 yearrs in the medical field I am a very passionate person who takes proud in what i do and I love giving back to my community and promoting good health habits for people of all ages.

I became a caregiver because I love being able to help someone feel a little better. I cannot take away their health problem, but I feel my job is to ease their problem. The things I love most about being a caregiver is interacting with different people who have different health issues. I became a caregiver after my husband became ill and subsequently passed away. I felt the need to help others where illness or disease has taken over and become a person their loved one could depend on. I am proud to say that I have made a difference in other people's lives by just being that person who is with someone's loved one so they can relax a little bit. I have became a caregiver since 1985. I am very compassionate and kind person. I am willing to step above and beyond the duty for my customer. I am a grand-mom of 2 grandchildren and I move from Maryland to Georgia and I still can go back to the nursing home of 11 years and they still show me love when go to visit. That lets me know that I did something right and touch many hearts.

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. I love seeing the joy on someone face after you did something good for them or just see how a person show health results due to the service you do for them. I am also a Massage Therapist and I constantly seeing how my services help others and I love to see that. One of my personal achievement that I am proud of becoming a Massage Therapist. This is just one step forward in my overall career goal. I am a mother of two boys and a wife of a veteran. I love being a mom and a wife.
