Compassionate, Friendly, Trustworthy Caregiver. I love providing care because it is rewarding. The elderly has a wealth of knowledge I love to hear about life and experiences. I enjoy working with elderly because they were once our active parents and now they need us we must provide the upmost loving care . I enjoy their appreciation being their caregiver and they seem so grateful and appreciative. One personal achievement I am proud of is that I am a mother to a beautiful baby boy.

I became a caregiver because I am a caring and compassionate person, and as a mother and having been a caregiver to my grandmother when she was ill (she is 97 and doing well presently), and to my mother who was on hospice for 8 months, I can empathize with a family's concerns when it comes to the quality of care for their loved one(s). So I treat my clients not only like I would want my family members to be treated, but like I would like to be treated also. I may need care one day too. The elderly should always be treated with respect and dignity. I enjoy being able to help my clients maintain their independence. I'm proud of making the decision to go back to college in 2006. I graduated in 2008 with honors. It was something I was determined to do and I accomplished it. I worked and was certified as a caregiver years ago. I decided I wanted to re-new my certification after caring for my mother who passed in 2010, I'm grateful I was able to be there for her. I've always liked helping people. I am a people person and an optimist. I have worked with adults with mental and physical disabilities as well.

I am an ambitious 19 year old who is energetic, enthusiastic and ready to tackle any task assigned to me. I became a caregiver because my own grandmother recently began having memory problems and needed care taking however she did not like any of the caregivers. We moved her in to our own house so that we could look after her and I liked helping out so I decided to give care giving a try.
