I became a caregiver because of my grandmother. iI like being a caregiver because i love helping people. I am proud of completing my RCFE class. I have been fingerprinted and had a background check done through Elderly Eldorado County In Home Support Service in July 2016. I am a caring person with a positive attitude,who believes in providing each person i work with with respect and dignity.

Spending that time with her has forever changed me and inspired me to care for other aging adults when the opportunity arises. As my mom's full-time caregiver I prepped her meals, assisted with toileting, transferred her, fed her(as she declined), laughed and talked with her, watched her favorite television shows with her, dispensed medication, groomed and bathed her. Hello my name is Serena, since the age of 13 I have always helped take care of my grandmother and thats where I developed a passion for caring for others. After graduating High School I enrolled in Eskaton's Certified Nursing Assistant Program, I am now working at one of Eskaton's Long Term Care Facilities.
