What makes me a great caregiver is my passion to help and become a companion for people in need while doing activities to make them better. I've seen many people who have gotten denied help due to difficult circumstances, i want to help change that. I am responsible and attentive and willing to learn any new tasks. I am also a college student and am completing my nursing prerequisites.

After rising my kids I had alot of free time not doing anything ?After my youngest moved out i thought i could give back to the senior. Who were unable to care for their self. What I like is that they tell me story of their lifes and things I never experienced. I have personal achievement with caring for the clients, are getting to work on time, and to be able to get along with my clients. I've worked in this field of work since the age of 18 yrs old.After having my kids I worked in a private home with five clients which were able to do some things on their own.Just because they have a disability doesn't mean that they should be able to get repect as someone with any form of disability.

Caregiving is my passion. I feel that when you do what you love you can't go wrong and it doesn't feel like a job. I love that I can help and learn from my elders. I have a deep compassion for hospice. I've worked with families during this difficult time and I feel the best thing to do is to provide comfort to the loved one on hospice in these last days.

I became a care giver because i care alot about making one confortable I like to make one feel happy cause I understand how they have pain alot of the day I want to be a help. Well I am 46 I have been taking care of people as long as I can remeber, I worked with In home support service for 15 years , I worked with res-care for 5years, I work with stepps for 2 years, I have a 12 year old still at home I also have older children ,grand children,also great gran children. One would say oh my ,I was blessed with all because of my husband whom I once loved passed away 09/2013 I took care for him till the end I took great care of him I kept him clean ,confortable, and laughing he did not want to go to a hospital he wanted me to take care of him I didnt think I would have been able to do it He needed me to do this I always listened to my husband he was a good man .He told me that it would help me, to take care of him as I took care of him I understood more and more because I had get ready to really say bye to my first real love. Loving him made me a strong woman and our children seen me take care of my husband there dad. Now I am unemployed In big need of employment Im a hard worker I want to make a difference to someone with a win win they get a good worker always on

I became a caregiver about two years ago and I found a passion in caring for others. Since I was a child I've always wanted to work in the nursing field and my second year in college I took classes for certified nursing assistant. I learned a lot and gained useful information on how to care for elderly people the correct and safe way. I am currently working on my registered nursing license as I gain more experience as a CNA and caregiver.
