I have a great deal of compassion for all people so being a caregiver just comes natural for me. I work very well with people, I am kind and kind hearted and I have a positive, happy disposition. I have found that being a caregiver is extremely rewarding. I started out hoping I would be of help/a blessing to others but in the process found that it is both the caregiver and the 'care receiver' that are touched/blessed. I am currently available on alternating weekends (every other weekend) , occasional Mondays, and occasional holidays. I will be happy to provide care / companionship for your loved one on either a consistent or 'as needed' basis.

Greetings to each of you...Im 32 years old and have been a caregiver since 17 years old. What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very loyal caring and concerned for anyone. I became a caregiver after helping a family that I knew nothing about take a break to enjoy theirself since the father was very ill. Every since that day I have been loving every moment.

I am a Criminal Justice major at Strayer University, I belong to the American Criminal Justice Association and I am also the vice president. I am a very outgoing person, I pay very close attention to detail when caring for others. I have been in the nursing field off and on for about twelve years if not longer.

I became a care giver because I love what is required of my assistance. I enjoy giving nurturing care. I became a caregiver when my family members needed assistance with their activities of daily living.

My name is Teque'lia Lewis and I am a 31 year old mother of two boys. I graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Communication Studies and Strayer University with a Master of Business Administration. I am the current 2019-2020 Miss Black Harris County and Radio personality at AfroVibes Radio Houston. I actively take care of my grandmother part time. I was raised by my grandmother and have a soft spot for helping the elderly. I love listening to their stories, helping them get around, prepping their meals daily, making sure they are groomed properly and providing companionship. What I like the most about assisting seniors is the wisdom and sincerity they share and show you. I care for them just like I nurture my children. I know how important it is to surround your loved ones with someone you can trust to care and respect them. My personal achievement was aiding my grandmother in walking again after being temporarily immobile.

I enjoy caring and helping the elderly it is a passion I've always had. I am compassionate and hard working. I currently work for a home care facility 2x a week.

Being a caregiver comes very easy to me because I grow up being a caregiver to a parent from a very young age. With that I have also had home health aids in my home that I was not satisfied with the care and i vowed that I would treat each patient the way I would want my parent treated.
