Hello my name is Takiyannie but I go by Starr. I am a mother of two teenage children I am a single parent. I was raised by my grandmother who was my mother the only mother I knew so I called her "mommy". When I was in my early teens my mother became real ill, she went from being super independent to dependent something I knew she hated. With this transformation in my mother's life she was diagnosed with COPD Diabetes congested heart failure having to carry around an oxygen tank 24/7 limited to mobility, is was a very heart breaking experience because she was such a loving fun outgoing hard working woman she loved to be out shopping visiting family or working. So to be a witness of this as a child the love my mother showed others even strangers made me appreciate my elders even more on so many different levels that I felt its an honor to be able to give back to them by being a companion or simply taking care of them. I enjoyed ever moment of helping my mother in her time of need down to giving her insulin shots which is really uncomfortable for them to go through twice a day. If you don't have the passion or heart to under the journey of our elders this is not the job for you but I love to give back an being able to be there for them so they know everyone has not given up nor forgotten about them this is why I chose to become a caregiver.

I'm a 20 year old entrepreneur, looking for side work that I enjoy. I've always had a genuine love for the elderly, and they are just so funny! I like to make everything I do fun. I love people! The one thing I appreciate in life is everyone's uniqueness.

I have worked in this field for more that 15 years. It is an honor to work in someone's home and assist them with the care the need. It reminded about taking came of my parents. I really enjoy have conversation, being an assistant to someone's needs. I have worked with many families and have gained their trust

I have been a caregiver for 26years. I enjoy working with people and making sure they are well taking care of. That is just my nature. It is who I am. I have in my life achieve many educational goals. I have a BS degree in Community health education. A Masters degree in Health service Administration and certification in phlebotomy. Working with people has always been my goal in life. My personal achievement is staying true to who I am; a person of integrity and being about the Lord's business. I have worked mostly with hospice patients and older adults. I have been certified since the 1980s.

Hello, I'm Mariah. I am from Greenville, SC and I have over a decade of experience in healthcare working as a registered medical assistant in specialties such as dermatology, pulmonology, geriatric, infectious disease, pediatric, internal and family medicine. Currently, I still hold my BLS certification and looking to serve a family in the surrounding area.

I have 11 years of care aid experience. I have experience in adls, wound and post operative care, amputation care, medication reminders and administration, housekeeping, food preparation, transferring from wheelchair to couch/bed, attending appointments, and working according to a care plan. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping people be able to stay in their homes as long as possible. As of right now my greatest achievements are my children, and attending college.

I became a Caregiver because when I was younger I seen my family member being mistreated when they were hospitalized. I told my self that I would work in the Caregiving field to help other feel loved, to bring kindness, sensitivity, compassion, and patience. What I like about being a caregiver is that I meet different people from all walks of life. Being able to listen, learn and understand things they went through about their lives and accomplishments. My proudest achievement going back to school to further my education. I am from Baltimore, Maryland, hard worker, self-motivated, reliable, determined and honest.

I am a mom of 4 whose children have all grown up and moved out of the nest. I raised a daughter with autism and was her caregiver for 19 years. I love caring for and assisting others because after an accident I experienced being in a wheelchair for almost a year and know first hand how it can make one feel. If I can help one person have a "normal" life and give them back a little dignity and compassion then it was all worth it. I am outgoing and love interacting with people of all ages and at 41 I am still learning as much as I try to teach. The level of customer service I commit myself to exceeds all expectations.

I became a care giver because I care about what happens and what's going on in a persons life as they get older and have special needs. I like to think that when I get older my family will care about what happens to me, so I treat everyone as I would like to be treated and loved. My personal best is that I have achieved the goal that I have set for myself and I would like to go higher. A person can always do better in life if they put their mind to it. When I was younger I have always taken care of people and pets. As I got older I continued to do so. Until this day I still put others before myself and always willing to give something back to the community and my family.

For the past 15 years I have always worked ast a CNA/PCT. It is what I believe in. My mom passed away many years ago and I believe its my calling. I was not there when she passed and I guess out of guilt this is my way to help. I want to give back to people who needs help, I know I will one day be in there shoe and I would like to know there will be someone like my self out there willing, able and capable of provide the care I may one day need. I loved my mom dearly and I know one day I will be like most of these patients will want help. This is the road the Lord as lead me on. I have always been a very caring, concerned and loving person. I enjoy helping no matter what it takes, I like talking, cleaning, running errands and reminding my patients of daily activities they need to do that will encourage them to each goals for a healthy way of living. For me, my personal achievement is never letting down my patients, that means being on time when reporting to work, and growing personal communication helps as well.

I have been a caregiver since 2021 and I thoroughly enjoy it! It is very rewarding being able to help Others and listen to their stories of their life and how proud they feel to tell them. I have a little cna training but never completed the class unfortunately but I'm preserving into nursing school this fall at tcat and can't wait to have the opportunity to meet and learn about helping new people

I recognize how important life is and caring for my patient is what I love doing. Taking tine time to show compassion and to help others with everyday living is what the job entails. This line of work takes a can do attitude, dedication, and passion. This is why Im a great caregiver.

I enjoy helping people with adult daily living. Its a special gift to be able to care for someone. I have worked in hospitals, hospice, and my special preference is one on one care. Its better to work with clients to learn how they want there care done.
