I am a very conscientious caregiver. And I make sure I get jobs completed in a very timely manner. I can handle several jobs at one time. I am very good at multitasking. I enjoy being a caregiver, because not only does it give me satisfaction, but it gives the person who won caring satisfaction. It's a win-win situation.

Caregiver is one job that I can do to increase my experience to be a nurse. I went to school / college for 8 years and studied to complete my Master degree in chemistry. A caregiver job supported me during those years and I see now how baby boomer really need best caregivers who has a lot of experienced in caring, personal hygiene care, dealing with their daily activities to maintain their health, light exercise,. Personal achievement that I proud of is I reach Master Program in my education. So I am an educated caregiver, I can explain about how important for their blood circulation. Moreover since I see many elderly people has problem of inflammation on their hands, legs, foot, I did light massage therapy with my rolling stick to reduce the inflammation and heal their vein bloods so day by day they recover from this inflammation and they are happy. I do this with one client who has Parkinson disease and heart failure. For clients that have UTI, I explained to the family member how to clean rightfully and with the clients who has ulcer or bed sore how to heal or treat those sore. I work for hospice. I am very excellent dealing with client who need tube feeding machine and make sure they don't have any irritable skin where the tube is. So I have worked as a caregiver for 8 years, a lot of experiences with paralysis, stroke, Parkinson, dementia, disable and hospice cares. Regular caring is my basic treatment to elderly people. My passion and care for people are one of my favorite services I can provide. I had my own personal care home business, due to my son's personal illness I had to close it. What I love about being a caregiver is seeing the smiles on their faces, when you are able to help them. A personal achievement when I opened my own personal home for them. I am full of life and a very warm person that love to care for others. I also have my CPR & FIRST AID certification and graduated amongst the top students in my class for my CNA.

I am a mature 46 Y/O female with a pleasant personality. I love to smile which allows people that I server and work with, knows that situations are not always dark as they seems. I do realize that by keeping a genuine smiling face, my co-worker are more drawn to me, and patients are more trusting of me and the care that I provides. At the age of 17, my mother was diagnosed with a neurological disease. After graduating from high school, the only noble and ethical thing to do was to care for her at home. At this tender age, I became a caregiver without a certification or license. I took impeccable care of her until she expired. Through those trying times I realize my heart for caring was more than I thought. I enjoy the look on a resident's face as if to say, "You have been a tower of strength through all this", or my co-worker saying " Great job Nurse A". I am so proud that after my mother's passing I did not keep my God given gift to myself , instead I went back to school and became a licensed care -giver to serve others with excellence.

Being a caregiver requires patients and compassion which are traits I am skilled in. I enjoy connecting with the patient, so they can feel as comfortable as if they were with family. I love helping in any way because I know it will be me some day.

1. I was first inspired to become a Caregiver when my mom and two older sisters became Certified Nurse Assistants. Since a small child I've always been a compassionate, caring individual. In high school, from the year 2006 until my senior year in 2009, I completed my hours of community service as a CNA trainee over games and extracurricular activities, under the supervision of both my mother and sister, at SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Atlanta. In 2012, I graduated from New Life Technical Academy in Hapeville, GA and became a Certified Nurse Assistant. I am so proud and thankful that I am living my calling as a compassionate Caregiver. 2. What I like most about being a Caregiver is understanding my patients, their medical conditions and rights, and doing all that I can to help them be as independent as possible if capable. My greatest qualities are promoting happiness, and providing safety and comfort for seniors. When caring for my patients I continuously think about how I would want someone to care for my own parents, so I treat them accordingly. I care for my patients in the same way that I would care for my mom or dad or expect their Caregivers to care for them. 3. My most prized personal achievement was my recent undergraduate studies completion from Georgia State University this past December 2014, in which I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a Concentration in Advanced Rhetoric and Composition. I will be enrolling in grad school soon.

I am very passionate about providing loving care to people. It bring me joy to know that I have made another individual feel safe and happy around me. Becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant was an unexpected blessing to me and I have embraced every moment since I started in this field. I have been in the Medical Field for 10 years now from working in Medical Records to the Front Desk, but interacting directly with the patient and being hands on is the best part.
