I became a caregiver out of necessity as my family needed to help. How ever I have remained one because I enjoy it. I find the elderly quite fun and their quick wit and stories of times past are very interesting to me. I have a A.S in Physical Education, a B. S in Exercise Science and I am currently working on a M.S in Public Health. I am an American Redcross certified C-Pro instructor. I also don't mind working with families that have kids and pets.

I am a college graduate and past professional administrative assistant and have also worked as a community resource coordinator within assisted living. I have an enormous passion for working with seniors and this began when I took care of my grandparents during some times of physical and emotional challenges. I believe that treating seniors with dignity and engaging in meaningful activities and conversation is paramount to wellness and as important as nutrition. I am highly attentive to details, dependable, and capable. I also have the ability to empathize and treat seniors with compassion and the utmost care.

I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me an opportunity to explore the medical field and it's aspects. I enjoy being around people and helping them with whatever task at hand. Coming to work and finding new things interest me.

Having raised by my grandparents had taught me a lot of experiences! I used to watch over my grandma who was sick at that time! I'm a very respectful and patient young lady who knows how to handle every stressful situation! What attracted me to being a caregiver is being able to help someone out there and being able to put a smile on their faces is just amazing! One of a personal achievement that I am proud of is having volunteered for a children orphanage! I had a great experience and some good memories.

I began working as a caregiver in hopes of acquiring experience in pursuing a career in the Nursing field. As a CNA i have had the pleasure of working with people of every background and culture. Being a CNA is an ongoing learning experience, you encounter different things every day. Since becoming a C.N.A., I have cared for seniors with the following conditions or needs: Stroke, Hip Replacement, Alzheimer's disease, Cancer, Catheter, Diabetes, Feeding Tube, Hospice, and Parkinson's disease. I enjoy providing assistance to seniors and would like to continue to develop my care giving skills by providing one-on-one care as a professional caregiver. I am a sincere, loyal and dedicated individual who has a great deal of ambition. Although, i have extensive experience in Health Field, i love to learn and am always up to a challenge. I am a certified nursing assistant and a certified medication aide in GA. I have a genuine passion for senior citizens and for helping those who are incapable of taking care of themselves. I have over 10 years experience in the healthcare field, and I thoroughly enjoy serving seniors and helping them live the most comfortable lives that they can.

I have worked in the long term care industry for over 20 years. I began as a certified nurse assistant while attending college. I chose that work because I desired to be of service. I worked in a nursing home caring for residents with dementia. I earned a Masters degree in Social work and worked as a Medical Social Work Case Manager for 7 years. I then worked as a Long Term Care Ombudsman, advocating on behalf of residents living in long term care. I have also cared for my mother, who was diagnosed with dementia. I have since retired and found that I miss the one on one interaction with clients and enjoy helping them remain in their home.

My grandmother, aunts, cousins, and mother have all worked in the home healthcare field as CNA's. My mother always bonded with her patients, and worked with them for extended periods of time - often until the termination of life. Because I was homeschooled, I too bonded with the patients that were in my mother's care. I was always alongside her as she cared for the loved ones of others. It is for this reason that I am able to say that I've adopted many grandparents within my lifetime. Spending quality time with my mother and her patients while growing up gave me both a respect for the perspective of those with great life experience, and also compassion for them as they experience a different and often challenging phase of their lives. I got my CNA license in 2013, and have been working in the home healthcare field ever since. I enjoy caring for many people. I love learning of each individual's background story. Most importantly, I enjoy giving them peace of mind in knowing that I will always work with the intention of valuing the quality of their lifestyle and preferences.

I'm Myriame and I love traveling I am fluent in French and love life. My motto is if your not gonna do it now don't drag it to forever. I love seniors all together I started as a activity coordinator then I knew by me being to close to seniors I have a love for them that I couldn't seem to let go. So I went further into being a caregiver. It's one of the most challenging things I been in but I love it and I love helping others rather it's someone like you an I or someone with dementia.

My main strength is my ability to observe changes in a patient. Whether it it is, a decrease in eating, agitation or illness, it is very likely that I will notice it. I realized when a family member of mine fell ill, my family and I were often unsure of whether or not she was being taken care of well and ,more often than not, she was not. I want to take that burden from other families. I love learning about the people I care for because it makes my job and their day a lot easier when their day is going a little rough. My proudest personal achievement is definitely when I got accepted into one of the toughest summer programs available to college freshman and sophomores at an ivy league university.
