I became a caregiver as a teenager in high school. I would go on Saturdays to help and elderly lady diagnosed with cancer. I assisted her with meals, light housekeeping and ambulation as well as companionship. I became a Caregiver because I'm a caring person with a passion for helping the needs of others who can't help themselves. I took care of an elderly disabled lady for many years in her home until she passed away recently. She would tell me everyday how much she loved me and appreciated me for taking care of her and that I treated her as if she was a part of my family and indeed she was a part of my family. I'm a loving, kind, reliable, honest, trustworthy, compassionate, and very easy to get along with. I have a clean background. I have excellent references and I'm told this is my calling to help people in need. I visit the sick and shut in often in their homes or facilities. I look forward to helping in the care of your loved ones.

I enjoy working with folks in the community and giving back to so many that have given and sacrificed even more themselves. I'm a people person and totally love giving my all in taking care of people's needs, wants, and lend a helping hand to someone that needs it. I just got my CNA license in June so this has been a personal achievement that I'm extremely proud of.

My personality traits or expertise that helps me to be a great caregiver is that I focus on dedicating myself to guarantee not only the health of a patient but also happiness from them. I have a strong belief that my sincere desire and passion to help whether it be from the elderly to children would make me the perfect candidate for the job. Being able to help a person feel better not just physically but mentally as well definitely makes me feel that I am doing right not only by them but just as a person as well. I enjoy the quality time the most about being a caregiver, when I'm not working on set for production it is spent taking care of my baby brother. At such a young age the companionship is important to me and being able to set the right examples for him so that he too can be able to do great things as he ages. A personal achievement I can say I am proud of is being able to have provided and continue to provide that caregiver quality I have to my loves ones, like for example my grandmother. She is in her later ages, with bronchial asthma, deep vein thrombosis, high blood pressure, minor heart condition just to name a few. I am glad to be able to help her in any way with daily tasks. I can especially to make her feel comfortable and to know that I am there with her any time I can. I strongly believe that not feeling alone and in not being alone makes any person happy and definitely makes a person feel better all around.
