I geniunely care about and want to help others who cannot do for themselves. I've always been an individual who wanted to put smiles on the faces of others just by sharing stories, helping with day to day activities and just listening to them share in their stories. Nothing makes me happier then to give someone something that can never be taken away, a smile, a hug and real concern for the person.

I became a caregiver because I helped my ex boyfriends grandmother and no one would take of her so I step in and took care of her she was an dietetic patient. So form there i deiced I wanted to become a RNA so I'm going to Phoenix College and well be grading in 2015. I didn't just stop there am also going for social worker because my husband is one.

Caring for other people has always been natural for me. Being able to be there for someone who may need my assistance gives me a sense of purpose. I value life and I want to show that to others. Each day I have the opportunity to work with some of the most beautiful people. I show up to work with a smile on my face because I know the people I care for are happy to see me. There has been so many things I have achieved in my life and at this moment I am proud of obtaining my Associates degree in the Human Service field. I have one more year left then I have my Bachelors of Science. I grew up with my mother doing in-home daycare. Ever since I was a small child I new I wanted to care for other people. I currently work in a group home assisting for ladies. Each lady is unique. I am a very hard worker and I enjoy getting to know other people. I reside in Minnesota and I am looking for work in California. I will make my move once I have something lined up.

I became a caregiver because i enjoy helping others. There are many things I enjoy about being a caregiver. I enjoy the one-on-one relationships with my clients. I also like that you are depended on to help someone else life run smoother. I am very proud that I still have the passion for this job after so many years, I genuinely have a passion to help and assist others.

I was a caregiver for my daughter and I like to take of people that need my help. I was always there and never left her with knowing that she was okay. I am 66 years old I will graduate with my BAB degree in November 2014 I am a family person who love to work.

I currently work in a home day care, I have always enjoyed helping others. A few months ago my employer's mom needed someone to take her to Doctors appointments, and to be her helping hand. I REALLY enjoyed my new role, it's not a better feeling than the feeling you get when you know that you have touched someone's life just by being there. As a small child I have always stayed summers with my great great aunt, and enjoyed the calmness and knowledge of seniors. I am a mother of five children ranging from 23 to thirteen. My for becoming a caregiver was to be able to help those who are not able to fully take care of them self especially for some one who is home bound. Being a caregiver have always brought me a sense of achievement because it really feels good when you are appreciated for your duties and the client is happy. One of my most recent achievements is when i earn my bachelor degree in human services and I've return to now get my masters. So to define who i'am, i would say i'am nice, caring, out going,patient person who enjoys life to the best of my ability. I became a caregiver because I adore people, I've always had a passion for taking care of people, I like getting to know them and getting to know there needs and helping them feel good makes me happy, I am kind loving patient I can be firm in some situations if need be.

I am beginning in care-giving field. However, I over 18 years volunteer experience and a BS in Human Services. I did an internship at Clearview Alzheimer's Facility, and found I enjoyed the social interactions and activities with their clients. They brought me joy. I was proud when one client's wife came in and was amazed that I had her husband playing "bones" or dominoes. It was than I realized how truly important even the simplest things are to the clients, and their families. I am organized and have office management skills. I like to cook, play games, and being a mom of two charming teenagers, I know what it takes to run a household, and all the errands that come with care-giving. In addition, I helped a friend with her twins and mother.

My name is Fernando i am 19 Years old, i joined caregiver.com because i am looking for another source of income, right now i work at bed bath and beyond and i go to university of phoenix, i am studding psychology my goal is to complete my associate degree and get a job where i can help others less fortunate and also in need. When i interact with other people i do not treat them as job but as person who i can help and i always love to help other people. when i was 16 my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer, as time progress she was not able to take care of her self so i began to take care of her, i made sure she ate (i am a great cook), took her medicine, and made sure her every single need was taken care of but she past away after some years. At this moment my aunt who i live with has a damaged nervous system, so she can walk only to a minimum so i take care of her by getting her food drinks helping her up and down the stairs and to the bathroom occasionally. I became a caregiver, because I have a passion for helping others. I really enjoy the opportunity to interact with the clients and their families. Being a caregiver allows me the opportunity to make a positive impact in the clients' and their families lives. A personal achievement of mine is I received a Medical Assistant certificate from Kaplan University. I'm from Nashville, Tn. I graduated from McGavock Comprehensive High in 1991. After gratuation is when I realized that I enjoyed helping others, so I pursued a career in healthcare. I'm currently attending University of Phoenix to obtain a degree in Healthcare Administration/Management.

I became a Caregiver because i love helping people. I don't know any other way to put it. I get along so well with people and especially Seniors because I have a great deal of patience.
