I have over 10+ years experience with patient care. My experience includes, developing and following patient care plans, creating daily activities and plans for patients, all with a very calm and caring demeanor. Caring for patients with limited mobility, Diabetes, Alzheimer's, having feeding tube needs, cardiac care needs, as well as administrating medication, are additional areas of care I have experience with.

What makes me a good caregiver is that I love helping people achieve. It's the smile on their faces when they have overcame an obstacle. I became a caregiver to help those that are less fortunate, so many things are taken for granted and I feel this is my way of paying it forward.

When I retired from the United States Navy I got my first caregiving job with an Assisted Living community. There I was given the opportunity to help with the memory care residents. I received my dementia training and realized my calling was to be of service to the elderly. I am a very dedicated and reliable caregiver. Nothing is more important to me than providing professional care to families who need a little assistance with their loved one.

I am a honest and trustworthy person. I am responsible for the care and well being of others. I always had a passionate to work for those who are in need of help. I have plenty of experience. I do more than just look after my patients and attend their needs. I nurture and build a bond.

In February 2015, I became a Certified Home Health Aide with 40 hours of training. I am highly motivated and eager to learn and work well independently. What I would tell my younger self is becoming a Caregiver is one of the best jobs that you can have and stick with it, do a Great Job because God will Bless You and give you the desires of your heart, just like he said he would in the Bible. I become a caregiver because I like to help the elderly to maintain their independence and live a normal life. I have been in health care since 1998. I spent 24 years working with the elderly, IDD, autistic children, elementary education and mental health. I love people of all ages and it does not matter if they have a disability or not. I love conversations with people, getting to know things about them. One of my greatest achievements was helping an individual reach a goal that seemed unachievable.

I have over 10 years of experience as a Supervisor/Caregiver. I previously supervised 4 group homes the housed clients that have intellectual disabilities, and those with dementia.
