I truly care for my people. When they hurt I hurt. My step mom passed away very fast and I wasn't able to spend the time I wanted to with her. What I love about being a caregiver is listening to their stories which was before I was born. A personal achievement is seeing my country .

I have over 10 years of experience as a Supervisor/Caregiver. I previously supervised 4 group homes the housed clients that have intellectual disabilities, and those with dementia. I enjoy and have a great passion for helping others, and love the job that I do. I currently have been caring for my grandfather for over 10 years that currently suffers from dementia.

I am a CHHA since 1993 because I am a natural nurturing person. What I like mostly about being a caregiver is the flexibility and travel. I provide Housekeeping,Meal Prep, Medication Reminders, Toileting, Hair Grooming, Bathing, Transferring, Hoyer Lift, Walking, ROM Exercise My personal achievement that I am most proud of is that I achieved three certifications within the same year of November 2013 my GED,Certified Clinical Medical Assistant,Certified Phlebotomist. In February 2015, I became a Certified Home Health Aide with 40 hours of training. I am highly motivated and eager to learn and work well independently. What I would tell my younger self is becoming a Caregiver is one of the best jobs that you can have and stick with it, do a Great Job because God will Bless You and give you the desires of your heart, just like he said he would in the Bible. I become a caregiver because I like to help the elderly to maintain their independence and live a normal life. I like the job of been a caregiver because it help me to show my love and appreciation to the disable and help them to achieve the highest and comfortable life during their terminal stages.

What makes me a great caregiver is my tenacity in helping those in need and my compassion for people. I became a caregiver in 2015 when I left from working in restaurants. From that point forward I have rapidly progressed and achieved many things in caregiving. I've come a long way and I enjoy the work I do.

I have been in health care since 1998. I spent 24 years working with the elderly, IDD, autistic children, elementary education and mental health. I love people of all ages and it does not matter if they have a disability or not. I love conversations with people, getting to know things about them. One of my greatest achievements was helping an individual reach a goal that seemed unachievable.

Hello, I'm Christy. I have been a caregiver over 5yrs, I worked for the state of Oregon until moving to Texas. I'm very happy and have a lot to give. I love caregiver because I believe no one should be alone, most older folks are forgotten about, so I get the pleasure of giving them a personal care in daily life making it possible to stay in their home. I have had the pleasure of meeting many people in need from diabetes, heart disease, COPD , dementia, Parkinson disease, epilepsy. I love my job and I am proud of what I do , Giving someone the peace of mind knowing that there day to day needs are being taken care of is what everyone deserves. I am proud of being a mother, grandmother, professional chef and baker.

I enjoy taking care of people, my whole life has been about care of others and I have devoted my life and career in doing so. I have attended school for Nursing to be more involved in the care for others. I am reliable, honest and dependable and would make a perfect caregiver for person.

1) I started taking care of my grandmother at 15,and doing missionary work in church with her or to the public.She made me make a promise to her that I would never stop assisting others who are ill. 2) The drive and determination of my career has kept focused and grounded to know this job is about helping people live again. 3) Going back to college to obtain my BA in Healthcare Management. 4) I am dedicated to my patients and I fell in love with the attributes I possess when it comes to being empathetic to others this is my calling and I loved it from the first day I started my career as a CNA/HHA.

I have always had a so much compassion for the mentally challenged, elderly and disabled. They are all so special and deserve to have someone they can trust and depend on to take care of their needs. Caring for someone who needs my help brings me happiness, helps me find my own personal strengths and increases my own self confidence. Helping others in need, to me, is what this life is all about. Being a caregiver has taught me to value the present and what I do is making a real difference in someone's life. It is a privilege and an honor to serve these awesome individuals, because at the end of the day, it can be hugely rewarding knowing that you've helped make someone's life easier and better.

I am a caregiver and nurturer by nature. My Nana was an RN and has been my inspiration since I was a little girl along with my passion for helping and caring for others. I truly believe my passion is my gift and I intend to continue using it to better the lives of others by giving them a sense of security during their time of need. I am compassionate, gentle, patient and kind, but both strong willed and physically strong, willing and able to take on most any task to help people in need. I feel like I am caring, loving and patient individual, I like to care for others that need care, I have an hear to listen when someone needs someone to talk to, I don't mind helping others, it's a part of my trait. I once was going to school for nursing, but didn't finish, so I worked in the acute hospital and convalescent home, plus in-home care for quite a while. I love caring for the sick and disable. I like to try and help and encourage others to get better and not to quit. I saw a friend of mine hold on after she was diagnosed with breast cancer, when the doctor's had given up on her, that I was there to encourage her to not give up and she lived a healthy life for a little of two more years, when the the breast cancer attacked her again, and she was tired and gave up and died.
