My personality is to be nurturing and giving, and I naturally gravitate to the helping fields of work. My clients experience me as kind and caring. Make no mistake though, when something needs to be done like pt exercises, I can make my point! I enjoy finding that special something about each client, and caring for the individual. Whether it's reading together, baking, attending church or meetings, I like to find out what makes the client tick and then run with that. I'm proud of my achievement in my very first caregiving assignment, which was winning over someone who had decided that she definitely did not like me. I found a common love, books, and she and I loved our reading sessions.

I am a college student working on a degree in behavioral sciences. Home health care became my favorite position working with people after I decided the corporate world was not for me. I value making spaces accessible for every one, whether it be through providing assistance in everyday tasks, cooking meals, or administering medication.

My name is Christian. I am 26 years old. I've been living in the valley for 8 years now, originally from Boston, MA. Some of my hobbies include photography, working on cars, reading, and spending time around animals. I am currently a caregiver, looking for more work and fun! I have also done medical technician and direct support work and I love it! I have reliable transportation. I am very kind and very compassionate. I have done a lot of self-care, and still go to therapy in order to better myself everyday. I really enjoy working with the public. I really strive to make sure people have good experiences and feel comfortable talking with me.

What makes me be a great caregiver is that i'm very kind hearted and considerate. I am a thorough worker, I have great time management and I work well with others. The thing the attracts me to be a caregiver is I want to join the medical field and I think that being a caregiver would be a great step to introducing me to that industrial. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I am able to make my clients happy. I love seeing that smile on there face because they feel as if they not alone and we get to build a relationship and really getting to know my client. The personal Achievement that I am proud of is building trust with my coworkers and being able to take on challenges and bigger roles for more of a successful company.

I have the heart to serve and to share my time and experience helping others live out their lives with dignity and quality of life! I have a wide range of experince in care and I am a well rounded person with a positive outlook on life. I am dedicated, motivated, and hard working. I feel privileged to provide care and companionship to all I have worked with, past, present and future.

I became a caregiver, because of a couple different reasons: 1. I love to give care to people who needs it, my heart rejoice in helping others. 2. I used to give my grand mother care when I was in Africa, which I cant do anymore since I moved in the States. Giving care to others here makes me feel like covering for taking care of my grandma which I miss. 3. I love seeing a smile on people's faces when I give care to them. it makes me feel like they've got all they need in this world. it makes me feel like, they are happy with their lives. I know I'm a great care giver because I consider the people I give care as my own. I do it all my heart and love. 4. God says we should love, and help those who needs help. I feel like I make God happy when I use the ability he gave me(love) to make his people happy:)

I am a person with great care and compassion for assisting the elderly. I enjoy contributing to a team environment and I'm a fast learner. The bulk of my care giving experience comes from my experience in Nigeria ,working for St. Vincent de Paul. There I worked providing care for the elderly adults with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's . I currently volunteer with Red Cross, helping out at the blood drives and assessing donors ability to leave safely after donating blood. I becameva caregiver,because growing up I took care of my siblings,and my nanny.it always made me feel goos to help someone else.putting a smile on someone face for something ad simple as tieing there shoe is so rewarding too me.I have learnt so much being a caregiver over the years about the disabled,elderly.it makes me feel truely blessed.I am a 43 yr.old mother of 3, and have been a caregiver for 29+ yrs now.I am hard working,devoted to what I do,which is careing for others.what im proud of is thatvi have raised 3 beautiful children by myself.and always making someone feel good about themselves,or just simply making someone smile or feel good about themselves becausevof what was achieved.

I am a friendly, energetic, person that loves working with people especially in the medical/caregiving field. I am very empathetic, and have a huge amount of patience, which I think are so key in dealing with the sick, the elderly and the young. I have been interested and involved in the medical/caregiver field all my life even taking care of my Alzheimer grandfather when I was just 10. ( I was the only one in the family with the patience and aptitude!) I think this is ultimately what drew me to the field is my love and compassion for the hurt, the young, and the elderly. I truly love being a caregiver, medical personnel and it shows in the care I give my patients. I have a high standard for myself and strive to treat my patients as well as I would my family, in fact I have considered many of my patients as my family and have kept in contact with them after care, or with family members after the patient passes. I have taken care of some very extreme patients ie; quads in wheelchairs and on ventilators, I am comfortable with all levels of care for my patients from the low level needs, to high intensive needs and have a vast knowledge to work with all of these types of patients.

I find great pleasure in caring for others and helping them be more comfortable and successful with their health and wellbeing. I am very good with medications due to my experience in pharmacy and also great with first aid/wound care. I like being a caregiver because it gives an opportunity to meet new people and uses my strengths well.

I am a loving, caring person, willing to listense and do my best to meet other people needs . Caregiver is a chalenging work, it helps me to be patient , i feel good knowing that my work help to bring comfort into other people life. The most thing i enjoy as a caregiver is to see a smile on residents who i care for, i like to whatthey are interest in and what would make them happy. My personal achievement is to treat other people as i would want to be treated, be nice and kind to other people, live a happy, joyfull life.

I am a great listener, always whiling to give a helping hand to anyone in need. The ideal of putting a smile on someone face or just being a shoulder to cry on, during their time of need; were one of the things that attracted me to caregiving. Hearing people talk about their life stories before old age or whichever way their life journey may have led, gives me the idea who my resident is; inside. Working in this care pathway, I have learned the importance of patience, love and what it truly means to be lonely. Not all achievements sounds cheery but I am truly proud to learn about this things.

My caregiving career started with my own grandparents in 2011 and blossomed into something I'm truly passionate about. Being the oldest of 4 also equipped me for this path. Family means a lot to me and I understand how important it is to find someone genuine, kind, and patient to care for your loved ones. I am always happy to help, a quick thinker as well as problem solver, experienced, reliable, a great communicator and willing to go the extra mile. I love getting to know my clients and being a positive part of their day.

I make it my personal goal to be as friendly as possible to everyone I encounter within my day. I feel like you just never know, trying to spread a little happiness everywhere I go. I decided to become a CNA because I want my life to have meaning, and what's more rewarding than helping someone that who can't help themselves. I truly feel like caregiving is God's work. These are his hands. We're supposed to use them for good.

I am a loving, kind, caring and hard-working caregiver. I'm a quick learner and I have the ability to adapt to different environments and those in them. I love music so you'll always here me singing a tune! I've been a caregiver for over a year and what attracted me to caregiving is just helping those who cannot fully help themselves. I'm going to school to be a nurse and helping others is something I've always wanted to do. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is just being there and providing care.

Hello! My name is Maria and I am a 50 year old woman who enjoys doing yoga daily and spending time with my family. I have 2 boys and 2 cats. The field of aging is something I've been interested in since I was a little girl. I have a need to try and make elders as comfortable and as happy as I can. I thrive on ways to make the day as best I can and I love conversation. I am a caring, compassionate and empathetic human being. I feel as though those qualities paired with my strong work ethic and flexibility make me a great canditate for someone to care for!!

Personal trait that make me a great care provider is. My youngest brother needs 24hr care I grow up learning how to care for him and to also be patient. As an adult I found joy and love in caring for all who can not do for themselves. knowing that Im honest and compassionate your family can be at ease with me as a caregiver to your love one.

ENFP if that means anything to you! I'm an outgoing, energetic, compassionate PNW local who genuinely enjoys working to help individuals and families. My initial pull to caregiving was because of the schedule flexibility- being a single mother means I need to ensure that his needs are being met. It wasn't hard to fall in love with a job where the main goal is helping others lead a more fulfilling life, while providing relief and time for self care for families. I have studied physiology, neurology and brain functions fairly extensively- I don't have a degree but I have the knowledge and use that to help provide the best care possible. A personal achievement that I'm proud of is being able to raise my son and watch him flourish into an understanding and empathetic young human.

I have been in senior care for about 15years. I have taken care of loved ones, neighbor's and other clients in the Vancouver and washougal community. I have CPR and first aid training, dementia training, experience with transfers and using a hoyer lift. I have always been close with seniors and have developed some great relationships in my 15 years. I look forward to meeting you and your loved one. I am also very reliable and consistent.
