I have 3 months of experience working at a care home with 60+ residents, before that I use to take care of my grandpa(he had MS). I also have 2 years of experience as a housekeeper at a resort. I want to make the lives of these elders better and easier.

First and foremost I'd say I'm very empathetic. I grew up as the only girl in the household so I naturally fell into the role of caring, loving and providing support. I have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to show others a genuine loving kind spirit that will put your loved one at ease. I will earn their trust and confidence and we will both gain a friend. I have about 10 yrs as a caregiver. I was a student nurse for 1-1/2 yrs and although due to life's circumstances fell just short of graduating my proudest accomplishment is raising 3 kids as a single mom coming up thru poverty to hold my certification as a sterile processing tech making great money and happy that my kids turned out so great now 24, 29 and 31.

As a mom, previous preschool teacher and caregiver to my in-laws and parents, I have developed a lot of empathy and skills for taking care of others. I enjoy working hard, being dependable and giving the best care possible to those I help. The importance of this type of work is often overlooked, but for me personally, it's really rewarding because if you do it well, you are really making a difference in people's lives. As far as caring for seniors, I have gained a lot of experience in the past 10 years (especially when caring for my father in law). He lived with us for nearly 3 years and needed complete care. I was his primary caregiver. That entailed assisting him with mobility by using gait belts, walkers and wheelchairs, managing his diabetes and caring for him through dialysis treatments.

I am a friendly, energetic, person that loves working with people especially in the medical/caregiving field. I am very empathetic, and have a huge amount of patience, which I think are so key in dealing with the sick, the elderly and the young. I have been interested and involved in the medical/caregiver field all my life even taking care of my Alzheimer grandfather when I was just 10. ( I was the only one in the family with the patience and aptitude!) I think this is ultimately what drew me to the field is my love and compassion for the hurt, the young, and the elderly. I truly love being a caregiver, medical personnel and it shows in the care I give my patients. I have a high standard for myself and strive to treat my patients as well as I would my family, in fact I have considered many of my patients as my family and have kept in contact with them after care, or with family members after the patient passes. I have taken care of some very extreme patients ie; quads in wheelchairs and on ventilators, I am comfortable with all levels of care for my patients from the low level needs, to high intensive needs and have a vast knowledge to work with all of these types of patients.

I absolutely love to care for people! I am warm and easy to get along with and have super great attention to detail and dont miss anything! I have my CNA license, CPR certified and have experience with a colorful variety of human beings! I have traveled the country and am well adept to adapting to all kinds of changing situations, and i am informed about making quick decisions about them. I have worked in fast paced servics industry and am fluent in working in extremely unpredictable and fast paced environments. I look forward to caring for your loved one!!! :)

I have a positive personality and I am compassionate. My goal is to work as a nurse but I plan to work for an agency or community nurse as I enjoy the freedom of not having to be at the hospital only. I wanted to be a nurse/caregiver for personal/professional growth. I enjoy building relationships with my patients. I am proud about being able to attend nursing school while pregnant and then continuing attending nursing school while breastfeeding my son who was almost a year old when I graduated from the nursing program.

My personal traits are caring for others. I treat my patients as my own family. I have a very loving heart and love taking care of people. I started caregiving after my mom passed away. I took care of her before she passed and it made me realize that's where my passion is and I wanted to keep helping. I enjoy knowing that people are getting the best care they can and feel like they can rely on someone other than their family to treat them like family. I received my CNA in 2015 and then my CNA 2 in 2016. I look forward to going back to school to become an RN in the future. I am a wife and a mother to 5 amazing children.

Hello! My name is Chanceline but you can call me Chancy. I like helping people and I've always had a giving personality. I have a caregiver experience of more than 5 years. When I was young I helped my parents to take care of my grandfather when he got older and couldn't remember or do much. I helped him with meal preparation, meds remind, cleaning and so more. I spent more time with him since his wife was already passed away. We played games while telling stories. We smiled. It was very soothing. That inspired me to become a caregiver when I got older. I love seeing a smile face on our elders and I would like to give them that. Patience, compassion, positive attitude, good communication, trustworthiness, and empathy helped when I was taking care of grandpa and also when I took care of my clients when I was working as a caregiver.
