I also have experience as a Director of a private Home Health Care Division where I ensured client schedules and home care needs were efficiently met. I am outgoing, dependable, caring and I thoroughly enjoy meeting new clients that I am able to help assist with their daily needs.

I worked in corporate for 18 years and left to care for my grandmother. After her passing, I realize that caring for others brings me the greatest joy in life. I have been in this field for 7 years mainly hospice patients. I've had a wide scope of patients from demencia, copd, wheelchair bound, blind,etc... Though the years I've discovered my measurements of success in the caregiving field.One being able to give my clients the best last days of there life! There is great joy in bringing laughter to many in their time of need.

I worked for the IRS for 16 years in customer service. I took great pride in the fact that no matter how angry or abusive taxpayers could be I never took it personally and by the end of a call I had calmed them down and took care of their issues until they were satisfied and sometines actually grateful. I raised three children by myself and a niece as well. They all turned out to be honorable, self relient and good parents and citizens. I have always tried to be true to myself and always do what is right. When I was 16 yrs. old I worked in a tiny hospital in Joplin Mo. I helped in the emergency room, labor and delivery and on the wards. I was a 'nurses aide' and we did functions that are know done only by professionals, such as positive pressure, inserting catheters and sonar treatments. I'm just grateful I never hurt anyone!!!

I am a loyal, patient, and honest person who enjoys helping others. I chose to be a caregiver because I understand the conditions and felt the need to help; I put other peoples needs before my own. My grandmother, who has had multiple strokes, is now paralyzed on her right side of her body and is unable to speak and do any of her daily activities. My aunt who is an RN had taught me the ropes on to being my grandmother's temporary caregiver. Not only did I enjoy the time spent with my grandmother, but I also enjoyed that I was able to give back and make an impact on her life. I only hope to do the same for others.

Since I was a child I have loved my grandmother very much and seeing her grow old and feeling how she is losing her abilities saddened me a lot. That is why I decided to be a caregiver to help all the people who need me. I chose this path in the medical field from a young age when I realized how much I valued the individuality and the wisdom of my elders, and how much joy it brings me to be able to be a shining light in their darkest days. In 2019, I was my father's primary caregiver, and I experienced some unprofessional nursing staff that made me want to be in the medical field even more. I have heard horror stories of unkind, unprofessional, non-caring nurses that are involved with our patients, and it utterly breaks my heart. I'm a firm believer that you lived a valuable life if you positively affected at least 1 person in your lifetime and I want to be rich in experience when my time comes. I view everyone as potential family and will always advocate for the patient with their best interest in mind. There are countless good people in this world that are deserving of so much. I crave to be a part of that experience. It's my calling here on earth and my purpose being a Christian woman. I am a full-time student, going back to finish my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have experience with altered mental status patients and do well in deescalating situations involving conflict. I became a Cna because I wanted to be able to work in my field of choice while I work on getting my degree in nursing. Being a caregiver is very rewarding to me because I love to help people and I have a big heart.

I'm a Christian woman. I love with my whole heart. I find myself loving all my patients. I care for them like I would want my mom to be cared for. My mother in law was sick and I took care of her and my father-in-law. They both were great people. That's one of the reasons I love working with elderly. I love working with elderly because we are supposed to take care of them. And I love to do just that. My family. I am proud of my sweet daughter and granddaughter I love my husband. What makes me happy about them all it the closes we have. And the love for the Lord. I have worked with the elderly for 10 plus years. In care homes and in there homes. I also have raised 16 foster children over 10 years. I loved it. I have worked with Alzheimers and dementia patients. I will care for patients who need help with mobility. What makes me a great caregiver is I enjoy helping others to achieve to be more positive about themselves and be there for them by cooking , housekeeping, taking them to store, pharmacy , Dr appointments . I enjoy meeting new people & making new friends.
