Hello, my name is Valeska Vasquez and I truly believe that I have the characteristics of a great caregiver. No matter what your needs may be, I will do my best to assist you in a way I can. I am someone that is very patient and understanding of the circumstances that may present itself on a day to day basis. I'm very compassionate towards people and their situations. I can understand what someone is going through and assist them. I am so very attentive. I ensure that I get to know my care receiver well to the point I can notice right away if there is an emotion or physical change occurring. Not only can spot changes in the person I am caring for, but I can be a friend if needed. I can be someone you can depend on and trust to be there for you in the long run. I am friendly and hard working. I find joy in helping others. I am a good listener and really enjoy hearing about the life experiences of others. My mother was a nurse and worked in many senior living homes when I was a child and I always loved talking with her patients at the home. I had an extremely close relationship with my grandmother and great grandmother before they passed, being there to help them when they needed me most was something I am grateful for. I'm a stay at home dad for the most part and started assisting Great uncle when he got older and have made it a point to be more active in his life.

Hello my name is Melanie Bjugan. I have a philosophy that supports taking care of children, elderly or any persons that cannot fully support quality of life without assistance and support. When i was a child I would visit residents and patients at a nursing home near my house. I would ride my bicycle there to just spend time and make them laugh and sing.

I have always been a person to help..i first started helping people that need help when it came to my dad when he got sick and I had to help him bath,use the bathroom,give meds,help with getting him food and at the time I was only about 15 and I loved it most kids would rather be out with friends not me I would stay and help my dad and I love to talk! I started caregiving about four years ago for extra income and realized how important and rewarding this work is. I am an energetic & passionate person dedicated to service. I love helping people any way I can. In American culture the elderly community is an often overlooked part of society. That is a travesty & I believe in taking care of those that came before us & gave their lives raising families & contributing to their communities. I enjoy assisting people live the best life possible. Life is precious. We should make the most of it.

I have always had the passion to take care of people, i get told a lot that everything i do is in a natural way. I helped with the elderly since i was around 7 yrs old, I did volunteer service in my high school years. I have been a CNA for over a little 6 months, and I have met some wonderful people throughout my job. I enjoy to make them laugh, give them the company they need and give them back a little of what they gave their kids; care, companionship, and love. I love my job, and for me its more then only a job or a client/patient. And I am proud of what i do.

Hello. My name is a Mary Lynne Bowen. I am a single woman with one daughter who is an adult. I retired from Texas Department of Criminal Justice on 9/30/2017. I have worked several jobs since retirement but have not found one that I have been satisfied with. I care about people in need and found volunteer work at CAMAL food pantry in Cuero. Texas. I have been spending time doing that since August 2025. I survive on my pension through the state but it has not been easy. I am looking to make some additional income in doing what I care so deeply about which is helping people with disabilities, people who are in need of company and/or help with basic household necessities. I have my own vehicle so I will be able to meet the needs of many clients. I am proud of two personal achievements in my life. The first one is giving birth to my daughter in 11/1996 after being told I would never have children. My other achievement is working for the state of Texas for 28 years and retiring with pension and full insurance for the rest of my life. I will be the ideal caregiver and will work hard proving to my clients that they will have me there to rely on for their needs.

I can help set up medications, perform injections, provide easy to understand education on disease process, assess for barriers to compliance and provide peace of mind to family members with daily calls and/or text messages. I can attend appointments and in the home will provide exceptional attention to patient and patient environment.

I am a christian faith based personal care provider. I started my career as an elementary school teacher in Ghana, West Africa from 1984 to 1999. My passion for taking care of the elderly was developed after caring for my mother during her last years on earth. Upon arriving in the United States, I earned certifications in Medication Administration, Nurses Aide, and in Assisted Living Management to validate my experience and make me competitive in the field. My unwavering love for my work has awarded me a great number of clients who have become an important part of my life. My growing list of clients encouraged me to recruit and supervised equally passionate and experienced Nurses Aides to assist me in my work.
