My mother was a nurse and worked in many senior living homes when I was a child and I always loved talking with her patients at the home. I had an extremely close relationship with my grandmother and great grandmother before they passed, being there to help them when they needed me most was something I am grateful for. I love being someone you can count on to make your day a little easier and brighter and look forward to meeting you.

Hello my name is Melanie Bjugan. I have a philosophy that supports taking care of children, elderly or any persons that cannot fully support quality of life without assistance and support. When i was a child I would visit residents and patients at a nursing home near my house. I would ride my bicycle there to just spend time and make them laugh and sing.

I am a single mother of 2 beautiful children. I am looking for a caregiver position to help people because it is personally fulfilling and I want to make a positive difference for someone through their hard times. :) Overall I have 8 years caregiving experience. My grandmother had Alzheimer's which me and my mother would help her daily and take shifts making sure she was properly cared for. It was very fulfilling and taught me a lot. My mother is now in her late 60's, has diabetes, mental disorders, among other conditions. She's recently had 2 knee surgeries and hip replacement which me and my 2 children helped her pre/post op to make sure she has what she needs to complete her daily tasks and fast track her healing. From physical therapy, going on walks with her stroller, doing laundry, dishes, picking up her apartment to ensure it's a safe environment with no trip hazards, dispense medication, grocery shopping, transportation, or even just playing a board game. As I said I thoroughly enjoy helping people and want them to be happy and enjoy life. Having 2 people whom I care for deeply on the receiving end of care, It is something I am very passionate about to ensure everyone has a companion, a lending hand and a positive experience. Hopefully I can get a chance to help make a difference here!

I became a caregiver because I want to help take care of the elderly ones who can not take care of themselves.I like to see someone am taking care of get well,happy and I always fell happy when the elderly ones tell me they are happy that am helping them do the things that they can't do and that they appreciate my help.I am proud that I helped them and they are happy and and appreciate my help. I have always been a person to help..i first started helping people that need help when it came to my dad when he got sick and I had to help him bath,use the bathroom,give meds,help with getting him food and at the time I was only about 15 and I loved it most kids would rather be out with friends not me I would stay and help my dad and I love to talk! About anything and everything you can think of!

Hello. My previous work was at St. David's South as a Patient Care Technician, and I worked very hard :) I also worked at Marbridge Community as a Resident Trainer. I started caregiving about four years ago for extra income and realized how important and rewarding this work is. I am an energetic & passionate person dedicated to service. I love helping people any way I can. In American culture the elderly community is an often overlooked part of society. That is a travesty & I believe in taking care of those that came before us & gave their lives raising families & contributing to their communities. I enjoy assisting people live the best life possible. Life is precious. We should make the most of it.

I have always had the passion to take care of people, i get told a lot that everything i do is in a natural way. I helped with the elderly since i was around 7 yrs old, I did volunteer service in my high school years. I have been a CNA for over a little 6 months, and I have met some wonderful people throughout my job. I enjoy to make them laugh, give them the company they need and give them back a little of what they gave their kids; care, companionship, and love. I love my job, and for me its more then only a job or a client/patient. And I am proud of what i do.

I believe there is not enough humans willing to care for our elders the way they deserved to be care for. I am very passionate about making sure our elders have respectful-loving-care. I love and care for my elders as I would like someone to care for me some day, as I am always willing to above and beyond to make sure that I provide the best service possible, and make sure I help make their life happy and confortable as possible. My reason for doing this line of work is because I love humans in general, but specially my elders and children.

I can help set up medications, perform injections, provide easy to understand education on disease process, assess for barriers to compliance and provide peace of mind to family members with daily calls and/or text messages. I can attend appointments and in the home will provide exceptional attention to patient and patient environment.
